Christian began his academic journey in Göttingen, where he completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, culminating in a PhD under the supervision of Karl-Henning Rehren. During his doctoral studies, he delved into string-localized quantum field theory (QFT), an independent framework for QFT that does not rely on the quantization of an underlying classical theory. His work contributed to advancing this autonomous approach, exploring new perspectives in the mathematical structures of QFT.
After earning his PhD, Christian moved to Warsaw, where he undertook a postdoctoral position to study operator-theoretic questions in the context of QFT.
Christian’s primary research interests lie in uncovering and refining the mathematical foundations of QFT.
We wish Christian a productive and fulfilling time in Vienna and look forward to the insights his work will bring!
