Job description:
Applications are invited for a 1-year postdoctoral research position in quantum gravity, theoretical high-energy physics or mathematical physics at the department of physics, University of Vienna.
The position will be part of the project

"Quantum Spacetime and Gravity in Matrix Models at one Loop"

funded by the FWF. Applicants are expected to have expertise in theoretical high-energy physics including quantum field theory, gravity, and mathematical physics, and a strong interest to contribute to the above project. The successful candidate will be part of a broad mathematical physics group with activities on higher spin theory, conformal field theory, noncommutative geometry, string theory, gauge theory, gravity and topological field theory. The research environment includes groups in particle theory and gravity at the University of Vienna, and the group of fundamental interactions at the Technical University Vienna.
