Fiona received her PhD at the University of Leeds. She obtained an ESI Junior Research Fellowship as well as a research fellowship from the London Mathematical Society to come to Vienna to work with Nils Carqueville. Her research interests are centred around the mathematical underpinnings of topological quantum field theories. In particular, she works on topological models for particle motion in topological phases and their (categorified) representation theory. We warmly welcome Fiona and wish her a productive and happy time here.
