In an official ceremony held by the students, Stefan was given the “Award for good teaching” together with Massimiliano Procura and Daria Setman. The award is given every year to members of the Faculty selected by the students. Any teaching staff member (whether professor, doctoral student, or postdoc) could be nominated in a faculty-wide survey conducted by the Roter Vektor.
Stefan joined the group in September 2023 as a postdoctoral researcher, focusing on various aspects of symmetries beyond the Lorentzian world. The award was given to him for his excellent teaching skills in the courses 'Linear Algebra for physicists' and 'Theoretical Physics 1 (Classical Mechanics)', which offer a foundation of mathematical and physical concepts to the students in our Faculty.
We are thrilled that one of our members has received such recognition from the physicists of tomorrow!
Congratulations to Stefan Prohazka for his “Award for good teaching”
